Refunds & Cancellations
Thirty days to change your mind.
Buy anything from Creative Path 52 and you have thirty days to decide it wasn't for you. One email is all it takes. You don't have to give a reason, fill in a form, or sit through an offer of a discount instead — we send your money back to the card you paid with. This page says exactly how that works, and sets out your legal rights alongside it in plain English.
The promise, in one paragraph
Everything below is detail. This is the whole of it.
If something you bought from us isn't right — it doesn't do what we said, it doesn't suit how you work, or you simply changed your mind — email support@creativepath52.com within thirty days and we refund you. We don't ask you to justify it. We don't make you prove you tried hard enough. We don't route you through a returns portal. A person reads your email, and the money goes back to the card you paid with.
This is a promise we make on top of your legal rights, not instead of them. Where the law already gives you something stronger, the law wins — and we say so in each section rather than burying it.
Thirty days runs from the day you buy. For the white-glove install, it runs from the day of your session — see below.
InkFox · the £499 licence
A digital product: a signed Mac app and a lifetime licence key, emailed the moment your order settles.
Our thirty-day promise
Thirty days from purchase, for any reason, including no reason at all. It doesn't matter that you have already downloaded the app, entered your key and used it — that is rather the point. You cannot tell whether an AI that learns your work is right for you without letting it learn your work. So we do not treat downloading it as the moment you lose the right to change your mind.
Your statutory right, stated accurately
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have fourteen days to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content supplied straight away, that fourteen-day right ends once the download begins — but only if you expressly agreed to the download starting immediately and acknowledged that you were giving up the cancellation right. If you were never asked for that agreement, the fourteen-day right stands, whatever else this page says.
Our thirty-day promise is longer than the statutory fourteen days and is not conditional on any of that. It is simpler to use the promise; the statutory right is there underneath it either way.
If you haven't downloaded it yet
Then nothing is in dispute at all. Email us and we cancel the order and refund in full.
What happens to your licence key
When we refund you, your licence is withdrawn and you should stop using InkFox and delete the app. We do not take back the download link or reach into your Mac — InkFox runs entirely on your own machine, on your own accounts and your own API key, and it does not phone home to be given permission to start. That is a deliberate design decision about your privacy and independence, and it means the honest position is this: after a refund, continuing to run InkFox is a breach of the licence, and we rely on you, not on a switch we can flip. We would rather tell you that than pretend to a control we do not have.
If it's faulty or not as described
Separately from all of the above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. If InkFox will not run, or does not do something this site says it does, tell us: we will fix it, and if we can't fix it you get your money back. That right is not limited to thirty days and we will not argue about the calendar when something is genuinely broken.
The white-glove install · £999
A service: a 1:1 consultation, the install done with you over a screen share, coaching, and a wiring check before we finish.
Before your session — cancel any time
Any time before the session starts, cancel for a full refund. No notice period, no admin fee, no reason needed. Nothing has been delivered yet, so there is nothing to argue about.
Rescheduling is free, always
Life happens. Move your session as many times as you need, at no cost — just tell us. Rescheduling is not cancelling and never triggers a charge.
Your statutory right, stated accurately
You have fourteen days to cancel a service bought at a distance. If you ask us to book you in within those fourteen days and agree to the session going ahead before they are up, you keep the right to cancel — but if you cancel after the work has begun we may keep a proportionate amount for the work already done. In practice that means: cancel before the session and you pay nothing; cancel halfway through and you pay for the half you had.
After your session
If it didn't do what we promised, tell us within thirty days and we make it right. The session ends with a wiring check — your email, your calendar, your notes, your Crew deck and your own API key, each one verified connected rather than assumed. If that check did not pass and we could not put it right, you get a full refund of the £999, including the session itself. If the session did what it said but you still feel it wasn't worth it, we refund what you paid less a fair, proportionate amount for the time actually delivered — and we will tell you that figure before we process anything, not after.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel on you, you choose: a new date, or a full refund. We do not make you take the rescheduled date.
How to claim — three steps, and only the first is yours
There is no form and no ticket number to quote. An email is enough.

Email support@creativepath52.com
Put your order reference in it — it looks like POS-20260831-001 and it's on your receipt. If you can't find it, the email address you bought with is enough for us to look you up.
You do not have to say why. "I'd like a refund" is a complete request and we will treat it as one.
-
We reply the same working day
A person, not an autoresponder. If we need anything at all from you it will be one short question, and it will never be a request to justify yourself.
Monday to Friday. Weekend and bank-holiday emails are answered the next working day.

The money goes back within five working days
Refunded to the same card or payment method you used — we cannot send it anywhere else, and neither can anyone pretending to be us. Your bank then takes its own few days to show it.
Five working days is our promise. The legal maximum is fourteen days, and we do not intend to use them.

What if I bought the licence and the install together?
I bought it more than thirty days ago and something is broken.
Does a refund cancel my licence key?
Can I cancel a booked white-glove session?
How long does the money take to arrive?
Does this replace my legal rights?
Should I ask my bank instead?
